For years and years Philadelphia was a city that the Right Wing Minority controled-north east and south Philly ran the town. After years of in fighting the community based organizations came to the understanding that if they do not vote in their best interest no candidate white or black would care about their issues. Asbury Park, it was not about the candidate. It was about your community. Once you vote in support of your community they will take you seriously. Wilson Goode was an insider, Milton Street was an activist, Randell was a hard nose politician. They all had real concern for the black community because they new they would be held accountable at the polls. Right wing politics will never run Philly again. The Rizzos are still there. Racism and bigotry is still there but they are in check because of the power of the vote. We pray for the City ifAsbury Park. If this administrative team turn their backs on the West Side a lot of damage will be done in four years. Bush is out if the White House but his appointees are on the Supremo Court taking our rights. Our new Powerful Mayor with his city council will be able to administrate and legislate US right out of town. Please watch, stay active, and PRAY.
