For years, my lyrics have been inspired by the idea that our lives can be something more than this complex system of checks and balances that life in many of our societies offers. I know that these efforts to think beyond are my ways of expressing my yearning for a sense of freedom and enlightenment on a higher level. Im so thankful that being an emcee and expressing through poetry offers me a canvas to paint any pictures I want. I can be as straightforward or as cryptic as I choose as I express many of my passions through wordplay. Now finally, through the energized efforts of my good friends, Polish & Ayla, we will be using our Fall tour as a platform to make this experience of creativity & musical celebration an experience of nurturing ourselves and our communities in a way that feels fulfilling at our cores.
