They give you a driver who know multiple languages. If you call taxi from road ,their charges are depending on the customer. You may be cheated any time. If you ask to provide cab from hotels , the rates will be throat cutting. Eg. Aloft hotel taxi charge from Shoganellur (Near Global health city ) to Chennai central for an a/c Cab is 1600 inr. Bharathi call taxi charged 625 inr for the same distance. See the difference is about 1000 rupees This is true for all cities. To get call taxi ...just browse call taxi in Google. Calicut also few call taxi services. Another story....not a success story. Angels tried to simulate same system in ambulance service field. But we faced very bad resistance and we almost failed to implement it in calicut. In Kerala the biggest issue is self motive people and they will dominate even if their number is less. This people have big support from political , trade unions and even police. Angels now failed to give services in medical college. We are helpless. Nobody to support us.
