For you dads out there (or for you moms, too, for that matter), have you visited the fatherhood.gov website? The next Fatherhood Buzz Initiative will be taking place on Saturday, February 22, 2014 and will focus on Healthy Relationships. Healthy relationships between parents, and between parents and children, strengthen mental well-being and the ability to cope with the daily stress we all face. Fathers who model good communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal relationship skills are teaching their children by example the foundations of all healthy relationships - trust, respect, and understanding. So visit the website and take a look at whats available - from tips on getting kids to do their homework to advice on helping them get into college. (And, of course, its all free). Have a good one!
