For young vietnamese persons, when we take a look back to our recent history, it is really difficult for us to distinguish the merits from the demerits of both communist and non communist regime. We vietnamese people try to compare the superiority of the bow and arrow versus sword and spear. The debates will be interminable. Now it is time to invent a new thing more advanced than the ones now held, then let people judge for themselves the relative advantages and defects of the old and the new. Like we stop debating the superiority of the sword and spear versus bow and arrow and start using guns and nuke missiles. It is the role of vietnamese scholars.
