For your information: Gold Star - Leap of Faith Seminar - Next one August Please forward this to all Gold Families From: Joe Caruso The next Seminar is Scheduled for August 17,18 and 19, 2014 in Southern Pines NC. If flying the closest big airport is in Raleigh NC. If flying plan on arriving on Saturday August 16, 2014. If driving plan on arriving by 8:30-9:00 am Sunday August 17, 2014. More information on where we are staying in Southern Pines, NC will be follow at a later date. Day 1 (Sunday is the Seminar). Day 2 & 3 will be the jump and time at Old Glory Legacy Foundation. You must attend all 3 days to jump. Plan on leaving mid evening on Tuesday if driving and Wednesday if flying. Dress is casual, dress for the weather it can be cool, cold, hot or wet when outside. Note: If you have previously jumped you can NOT do it again, but you can attend the Seminar again. To Jump you must be 18 years old, max weight of 250# be a Gold Star Spouse, Parent, Sibling, Son or Daughter. NO others are eligible to jump.There is a maximum number on the jumpers we can have. If taking prescription medication and/or 65 years or older a Doctors note is required. The minimum age to attend the seminar is 15. There is a maximum of 2 jumpers per family but more can attend the seminar. If you cannot commit to all 3 days do not register and cancel at the last minute as that jump position will be wasted and someone who really wanted to come may not be able to. Each jumper is encouraged to have a support person, who can also be a jumper. The $55.00 deposit is refundable if you attend the seminar and will be given back to you at the end of the seminar. Each person attending must register,sent the $55.00 deposit and must register with a separate Email address. The fee covers your room, food, Tee shirt. If you have any concerns or questions.
