Fordham to Speak at Chennault Museum Air show pilot and airline aviator Jimmy Fordham of Monroe is guest speaker at the Friends of Chennault Museum’s program at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Fordham was captain on the Airbus A330 for Delta Airlines and has been an instructor on the Boeing 727 and DC-10 aircraft. He holds airline transport pilot licenses in airplanes and helicopters as well as flight instructor and instrument instructor certificates in airplanes and helicopters. He most often pilots the famed Texan 6 vintage aircraft at air shows throughout the U.S. Fordham started flying at age 14, trained by his father who was a pilot. By age 18, he had earned commercial, instrument, multi-engine, seaplane and flight instructor ratings. The 1975 graduate of Northeast Louisiana University, now the University of Louisiana at Monroe, has a degree in aviation and has more than 20,000 hours of flight time.
