Cool to locally cold at first, then a cool to mild day with moderate northwesterly winds becoming fresh and gusty during the day. Weather Situation A low near the southwest coast of Tasmania will weaken out early this evening, with a ridge of high pressure to move over the state tonight. A cold front associated with a deep low well south of the Bight will approach from the west during tomorrow, with the front to weaken as it slowly crosses the state on Monday. A trough will develop to the northwest of Tasmania on Monday, then extend towards the north of the state late in the day before moving away to the east on Tuesday morning. Another front and deep low will move over waters south of the Bight later on Tuesday, with the front expected to reach the west coast of Tasmania on Wednesday evening as the low passes to the south of the state.
