The rain easing to showers by midday and clearing from the east early afternoon, but further showers extending statewide during the evening, with snow falling to 900 metres. Weather Situation A cold front is weakening over the state this evening whilst a developing low pressure will move over the north of the state tonight. The low will clear to the east of Tasmania early Tuesday afternoon. Another front is expected to cross the state on Wednesday as a low passes to the south, bringing strong winds. As the front clears a colder southwesterly flow is likely to develop ahead of a ridge moving over the state during Thursday.
