Forest Gump said stupid is as stupid does. That makes sense to me. Your really only as stupid as the things you do. I think leadership and ministry is the same way. Leadership is as leadership does. Ministers are as ministers do. No title can make you. If youre a leader then youll be leading, if youre a minister then youll be ministering. Once someone sees you doing those things the title will follow but only because its affirming what already exists. No one made me a pastor. I followed His call on my life as those that God had placed over me saw me serving and acting in that capacity I was invited and given the title. If you want to be a leader or minister or want a particular job even at work. Begin to serve in that capacity and those God has placed over you will see His activity in your life and affirm it. In ministry its Holy Spirit that chooses and gifts people for his work. We dont decide it, we respond to it and the results of our obedience are in His hands. Seek the Lord, not a title or position. He exalts the humble, but opposes the proud.
