Forestbrook Middle School December 2 We had over 50 students enter the VFW essay contest in honor of Veteran’s Day. Students wrote an essay about why they appreciated America’s veterans. Forestbrook had two students place at the post level and will now move on to the regional level of competition. Our winners are now in the running for a $5,000 cash prize and a trip to Washington, DC to meet the President. Please join me in congratulating our post level winners, Jaelyn Grandison (7th grade) and Kayleigh Lodge (6th grader)! Good luck at the next level, girls!
