Forget The Past and Move Forward Brothers and sisters, I know that I still have a long way to go. But there is one thing I do: I forget what is in the past and try as hard as I can to reach the goal before me. Philippians 3:13 (ERV) The scripture says that before Saul’s conversion he made trouble for those who believed in Christ and even killed some believers. Yet, after his encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus his life changed. The Lord sent him to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles. He went on to become Apostle Paul who wrote most of the New Testament. His obedience to God and righteous life is still affecting believers today! Today I encourage you to forget about your past and don’t let anyone keep you hostage to your past. You are a new creature in Christ so you are no longer condemned. Let God make you into the person you were always created to be and purpose to walk daily in the things of God. Just like Apostle Paul did in his day. Everyone has a past, it’s what you do with your life from this day forward that matters to God!
