For the Yes to be spoken, the hand to be extended, the apology offered up, the letter to arrive, the anxiety to quiet itself, for someone to appear out of nowhere to help. Maybe that pie will at long last turn out just right, sometime today. And maybe youll meet someone, taste something youve never before tasted, laugh out loud while looking for a card, look at yourself in a mirror and smile.
