Forgive the tag , Please, but I am DESPERATE for some info here. Does anyone remember the spooky old wooden hotel on the corner of Liberty Road and Pride Port Hudson that burned down completely sometime in the late 80s ? It was next to the old Post Office and across from the Pride One Stop (used to be called Kings Grocery) , right down the street from our old elementary school. I cannot find ANY information about it , and whats worse Is that my mother insists that it wasnt standing anymore when we were kids , but I know I remember it still standing when we were in elementary school there ! Does anyone have any info or memories ? Can anyone at least validate that it was still standing , in a somewhat ruined state , until it burned down in the late 80s/ very early 90s-ish ?? Thanks !
