Forgiveness Im not a perfect Christian person, I often start to question God sometimes, get bitter when I face trials and tribulations in life.. Get depressed once in a while and start thinking negatively. But in the end of it all, I always ask for forgiveness and mercy. I am a human being, I make mistakes, I start to turn to the wrong path, the path of the world.. I am a sinner.. In the end, I am always thankful that God can always forgive. God loves imperfect people, he loves sinners. If we have to be good enough to get to Heaven, then Jesus came to earth to die for nothing. I know I will NEVER be good enough for God to let me go home to him but I know sure know he will forgive me of my wrong doings and cleanse me from unrighteousness, because Jesus took the punishment we deserved, he volunteered and sacrificed himself for you, for the whole world. How great is his love for us! How great is the love the father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1) Let the wicked forsake his way and evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to God, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (Isaiah 55:7) Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:18-19) Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. (Titus 2:14) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (Ephesians 1:7) There is no sin too great for God to forgive, no matter how many times youve sinned. God will always be able to forgive you. Just keep in mind that you will never be good enough for God, you cant earn your way to Heaven, thats why Jesus came and took the punishment on himself for you to be righteous in Gods sight, now righteous means upright, blameless, justifiable, pure, and noble. You may feel hopeless and unforgiveable but God will ALWAYS forgive you and show mercy on you. We may fall short of the glory of God but we can always be sure that he will never forsake us. :)
