Forgiveness is an intense subject, one that I have given a lot of thought to. Ive had a difficult time forgiving certain people in my life. The concept of just letting go seemed out of reach to me. However, recently some old issues came up in a conversation I witnessed. The topic was one that normally would have put me in a dark place. This time, something different happened. I no longer felt anger towards the people involved. I felt a sadness for them, for their holding on to old wounds and ideas. Then I realized that, for me at least, coming to a place of forgiveness was not about forcing it to happen. Time had to pass, and I had to grow into a place where what once hurt me no longer does. I will not involve myself with those people again, but I can now send them love and good energy for healing in their lives. Just like everything else positive in my life, this did not come from my trying to force it or learn it. Forgiveness came naturally and in its perfect time. These are the cards that match my experience and remind me that it is positive to detox my life and space of issues, and sometimes people, that no longer support my path.
