Forgiveness of Sins When Jesus (Yeshua) went to the cross for - TopicsExpress

Forgiveness of Sins When Jesus (Yeshua) went to the cross for our sins, He bore all our sins and iniquities. At the whipping post, Christ also bore all our sicknesses and diseases. Surely, He (Jesus) took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him (God), and afflicted. But, He (Jesus) was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him (Christ); and by His wounds, we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:17 (NIV). God, through Christ, made it possible for us to be restored to a sin free, sickness free, disease free life. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10 (NIV). Jesus told us that all sins would be forgiven unto mankind, if they would come to Jesus and repent. However, one sin is named that will not be forgiven unto mankind. But, whoever disowns Me before others will be disowned before the angels of God. And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but, anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. Luke 12:9-10 (NIV). Truly, I (Jesus) (Yeshua) tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter; but, whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin. He (Jesus) said this because they were saying, He Jesus) has an impure spirit. Mark 3:28-30, Matthew 12:31-32 (NIV). Even the rejection of knowing Jesus, walking with Him, and being one of His followers was done by the Apostle Peter in Jerusalem when Jesus was seized, tried, whipped, and crucified. However, after Jesus resurrection, Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him. Christ did this three times because Peter had rejected knowing Jesus three times. Peter was forgiven then; and he went on to become a mighty messenger of Christ and author of scripture in the bible. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world; and yet, lose or forfeit their very self? Whoever is ashamed of Me (Jesus) (Yeshua) and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when He comes in His glory; and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. Luke 9:25-26, Mark 8:36-38 (NIV). Rejecting Christ and the sacrifice that He paid for our sins with His perfect life and blood removes all hope and salvation for mankind. To do so, is to make an eternal decision to face judgment with all your sins still intact. Jesus is the Stone you builders rejected, which has become the Cornerstone. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other Name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Acts 4:11-12 (NIV). He (Jesus) (Yeshua) commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He (Jesus) is the One Whom God appointed as Judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets testify about Him (Christ) that everyone who believes in Him (Jesus) receives forgiveness of sins through His name. Acts 10:42-43 (NIV). Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:8-10 (NIV). When we are truly of a humble spirit and a repenting heart, we can find the Lord God. Many times, with mankind, our seeking earnestly for God is in our lowest points in life; and under burdens, trials, or supreme hardships. However, when we humble ourselves and seek God, He will draw near us and answer our prayers. No one can come to Me (Jesus) (Yeshua) unless the Father who sent Me draws them; and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by God. Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him (God) comes to Me (Christ). John 6:44-45 (NIV). He (Jesus) told them, This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day; and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in His (Jesus) name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:46-47 (NIV). After Jesus resurrection, He sent His apostles into all the world to preach salvation and forgiveness of sins. Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that, through Jesus, the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through Him, everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses. Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you. Acts 13:38-40 (NIV). To reject all that God has done for mankind is to enter eternity with absolutely no more hope. We all have an appointment to die! After death, we will all face the judgment and bow our knees before Jesus. Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment; so, Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and He (Jesus) (Yeshua) will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him. Hebrews 9:27-28 (NIV).
