Forgiveness of all past sins through three rituals of Ramadan Assalamu Alykum wa rahmatullah. Alhamdulillah, we have the great opportunity to achieve the forgiveness of all our past sins in three rituals in Ramadan. We need to fulfill two simple requirements: Emaan (sincere belief) Ehetesab (hoping reward from Allah). Please see the following three hadiths. ******************************************************************************* Abu Huraira narrated that Allahs Messenger said : Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith (Emaan), and hoping to attain Allahs rewards (Ehetesab), then all his past sins will be forgiven. [Bukhari]. Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadan (and that is called Qiyam; Taraweeh or Tahajjud) faithfully out of sincere faith (Emaan), and hoping to attain Allahs rewards ((Ehetesab), all his past sins will be forgiven. [Bukhari]. Abû Hurayra radiyallahu `anhu relates that the Holy Prophet sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam said: “Whosoever worships on Laylatul-Qadr, with faith (Emaan), and hoping to attain Allahs rewards (Ehetesab), all of his previous sins are forgiven.”(from al-Bukhârî and Muslim).
