Forgot how tiring it is standing up for 4 hours. Even with a break - TopicsExpress

Forgot how tiring it is standing up for 4 hours. Even with a break for lunch my feet are knackered! Did 2 stints at a Morningside/Bruntsfield polling station today. Was fairly slow at times as many elderly here who may have had postal votes. Great to see school kids coming in. Obviously we didnt expect this to be a big YES area, but surprised that there were a reasonable amount. Collected a bunch of I voted yes cards and met some lovely people who came to say they were yes. NO seem to be rather disorganised. They seem to be working within their parties. We just have standard YES rosettes, but NO have NO Labour rosettes etc. An 86yo Labour guy didnt get his replacement and kept phoning, but their hq werent answering. He gave ME a note for his replacement rather than give it to the Liberal NO guy there. Weird. They dont have any I voted NO cards so in this area (at least) they will have no idea who has voted and who to chase out. Very odd. Queues to vote at some locations I hear. Only one rammy. The NO rep was good and stepped in to stop 2 folk shouting nastily at a YES guy. How is it going elsewhere?
