Forgotten Memories Reading: Psalm 103:1-8 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget even one of its benefits. -Psalm 103:2 A friend of my time in high school sent me email recently, a photo of our race team. The grainy black and white featured a vaguely familiar group of teenagers with our two coaches. I was instantly taken back in time to happy competitions 1.5 kilometers or 500 meters memories. However, even enjoying the memories of those days, I found myself thinking about the ease with which I forgot and went to do other things. When we go through our journey of life, it is easy to forget places, people and events that were important in. Time passes, and obcecamos yesterday fades in with the concerns of the moment. When this happens, we can also forget how good God has been to us. Maybe thats why David remembered as writing: Bless, O my soul, the Lord, and all that is within me bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, the Lord, and do not forget even one of his benefits (Psalm 103:1,2). There is no time that this reminder is more needed than when the anxieties of life pile up on us. When we feel overwhelmed and forgotten, it is important to remember all that He has done for us. To remind ourselves, we find encouragement to trust him now and in the future. -WEC Remember Gods faithfulness in the past makes us stronger for the future.
