Former ABZ National Chairman and now UPND Member Dexter Zemba Moono says it is irrational for the PF Government and the First Lady to continue lying that the Head Of State was well and discharging his official duties but still hibernating at State House and failing to attend important international meetings and was still been absence from the public eye when all Zambians know him as a person who loves publicity and the media. Moono told SKY FM News in an interview that Cabinet Ministers and the First Lady will soon be held responsible for failing to clear the air on the withdrawal of the Head Of State from the public domain. The Former ABZ Chairman stated that if President Sata was fit and was working the Zambian citizens are still being kept guessing as why he has been hibernating at State House and kept himself away from the public Moono disclosed that Zambians have now known that the PF Government and the first Lady have perfected the statement that the Head Of State was well and working an art of lying but Zambians have now known that the Head Of State was not well and has not been performing his duties since from his return trip from Israel. He stated that Zambian have the PF Government and the First Lady to blame to whatever is happening to the Republican President as their lies will soon catch up with them He urged the PF Government to look at this from a moral perception that people should be told what exactly was happening to the President regardless of its unpleasant nature Moono further disclosed that If Government dismissed nurses for absconding work in 10 days why can’t Zambians now demand to know the state of their President who has not been working for more than two month now adding that they employed him and want to cut his pay due to his absence He disclosed that the people of Zambia were humbly appealing to the PF Government to show love and be honest to the nation no matter how ugly this could be by telling the Zambian people about the health status of the Head Of State Moono disclosed that something was wrong and ugly for the Head Of State to continue shunning and withdrawing from attending state functions and national engagements adding the signal was sending wrong messages to investors as the leadership vacuum caused by the unexplained withdrawal from the public of President Sata had the potential to discourage foreign investment into the economy. He disclosed that very soon cabinet ministers will soon be hold responsible for failing to clear the air on the withdrawal of the Head Of State from public. Moono said the direction which the PF Government and the First Lady had taken to defend the absence of the President from the public compromised state security. He disclosed that it was unprecedented for cabinet to operate without the Head Of State adding that if the President was unable to administer his duties Cabinet on behalf of the people must follow constitutional procedure and not to continue lying to the nation.
