Former Fayette resident Craig Cunningham passed away at his home in Huntsville, June 22, 2013, after a battle with cancer. He was 49 years of age. Craig Alan Cunningham was born June 21, 1964, in Fayette, to Leon and Mary (Greenough) Cunningham. Craig was a 1982 graduate of Fayette High School. He married Michelle Parr, Feb. 14, 2010. Craig had worked at Hilgedick Electric in Fayette for a number of years until ill health. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Moberly. Besides his wife Michelle, he is survived by one daughter, Alexis Cunningham, three step-children, Logan, Raury and Alia, his father, Leon Cunningham, brother, Curtis (Laura) Cunningham of Redbank, N.J., three sisters, Diana LeNoir of Fayette, Christine (Andrew) Diehls of Moberly and Linda Daniels of Columbia, three nieces and four nephews. Besides his mother he was preceded in death by his brother, Chester Cunningham and brother-in-law, Steve LeNoir. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, (today) at Zion Lutheran Church in Moberly, with Pastor Ken Shurb officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. , Tuesday evening at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette. Burial will be in Walnut Ridge Cemetery with Andrew Diehls, Dalton LeNoir, Curtis Cunningham, Larry Day, Robie Adams and Martin Kirby serving as pallbearers. Memorials are suggested to Cancer Research or Craig Cunningham Children’s Memorial Fund in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service.
