Former IOC President Jacques Rogge has said that he thinks that the Olympic Agenda 2020 is “a very good idea”, report Reuters. Rogge said that the introduction of an Olympic television station would help to reaffirm the Olympics presence during the two year period between each Games. He alluded to the continuous attention that can be paid to sports such as football, saying “we need to have attention for the Olympic movement in the periods between the Games.” He also spoke positively about the prospect of greater flexibility in the bidding process for future Olympic Games.
