Former Kumul calls on clubs to discuss nines meet The National, Thursday January 8th, 2015 FORMER Kumul fullback Philip Boge has called on rugby league clubs in Hanuabada to meet at Botai, Hanuabada, at 5pm today. Boge, who works at the Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League office in Port Moresby, said the meeting would discuss the Southern Nines tournament next month and how clubs from the “big village” could be involved. “I’m asking representatives from clubs in Hanuabada and interested Motu-Koita villages in NCD to attend,” Boge said. The 46-year-old said the PNGRFL was looking to run nines tournaments in every region in the first quarter of the year and the Southern Confederation would be the first to hold its tournament.
