Former Microsoft Executive Bill Henningsgard....passed way this week at age 84...while using his own private plane to fly his son on a tour of prospective colleges...Henningsgard is from a prominent Astoria family and became independently wealthy with the growth of the company during his tenure....He supposedly crashed his plane into a group of suburban connecticut homes...This is not the first time...he has crashed a plane... a few years earlier...he ditched his single engine plane...claiming engine failure into the ocean ..nearly killing himself and his 80 year old mother....this time...he hit pay dirt....
