Former Minister of the FCT, Nadir El-Rufai in his book The Accidental Public Servant, wrote, the Nigerian Security Agencies are neither updated in their knowledge of constitutional rights nor are they willing to obey the constitution and laws. He expressed that, the thinking and practices of our officials must comply with the constitution and our laws, and this can only be achieved through serial litigation against oppressive behaviour and any kind of unconstitutional conduct. I hold Mr El-Rufai in high regards. His submission suffices my thoughts on the most recent debacle at the National Assembly. Verily, this nation is in dire need of purposeful leadership. Mr Jonathan cannot provide us such leadership come 2015.#As2015Beckons
