Former President Herbert Hoover calling for a rally behind the 1960 Presidential candidate to recapture the meaning of the word America versus his opponent in the face of a frightening moral slump. In other words, the one term president who was in office when the bottom fell out of the stock market causing the Great Depression rallied behind Richard Nixon on the presumption that he was a better representation to the American people than John F.
