Former Prime Minister Prince Norodom Ranariddh announced his bid to return to politics on March 16. bit.ly/1eIRH0e Ranariddh registered his new political party, Community of Royalist Peoples Party (CRPP), among supporters in Phnom Penh on March 16 so that the new political group can take part in the next election. Ranariddh, who ruled in a coalition government with Prime Minister Hun Sen from 1993 to 1997, told reporters he is returning to politics because the Cambodian People’s Party and Cambodia National Rescue Party are failing to find solutions to the country’s problems.
