Former Prior student Faye Marsay (ex Laurence Jackson School) has landed an exciting role in one of this year’s most highly anticipated TV dramas. Faye, 26, plays a young Lady Anne Neville (who later became Queen consort to Richard III) in the BBC’s The White Queen which is a period drama set against the backdrop of the War of the Roses and centres around the conflict for the throne of England. The series is based on the historical novel ‘The Cousins’ War’ by Philippa Gregory. The 10 part production airs from 16th June on BBC One. Appearing alongside Faye are some well known faces including Caroline Goodall (known for Schindler’s List, Hook and The Princess Diaries), Max Irons (Red Riding Hood), Arthur Darvill (who played Rory Williams in Doctor Who and appeared in Broadchurch), Rupert Graves (who played DI Lestrade in Sherlock) and James Frain (who played Franklin in True Blood). Look out for Faye on your screens this summer!
