Former Puyallup Tribal Administration Office-1940 (original facility), 1925, & 1950 The original facility was a government run school from 1880-1920. In 1920 it became a hospital, then in 1929 it became a Tuberculosis Treatment Center. During its time as a TB center a very large number of people died which led the facility to add an incinerator to the basement, this is believed to be the main source of the hauntings. Over the years many people claimed theyve heard footsteps throughout the building along with children’s voices, the elevators will move floor to floor on their own, and theyll feel sudden temperature drops in the basement (morgue). In 2003 this building was demolished but the hauntings did not end. After it was torn down, the first Emerald Queen Casino facility opened just west of the hospital grounds. Not long after, reports of odd and strange things started to come out: People hear unsettling noises on the fourth floor of the hotel, objects in rooms will disappear then mysteriously reappear, electrical devices switch on and off on their own, along with the voices of children and a woman crying out for her husband have been hear throughout the building.
