Former SNLer Al Franken won his senate seat against his investment banker opponent in Minnesota by a handy 10 percentage points by NOT running away from his support of ACA and Dodd-Frank. In fact, he did the opposite--embracing his lefty liberal politics, simplifying complex issues into a whats in it for me rhetoric and outlining what hed do for Constituents. Now, if he could bottle that and sell that to his democratic colleagues.
