Former World No. 1 Roger Federer is going to return back to action in his home tournament Swiss Indoors Basel Open, which will be played here on indoor hard courts at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel. 32-year-old Roger Federer is having amazing record here in Basel Open Indoors from past several years, where Swiss legend has bagged five titles so far in his career. Federer has won previous titles from 2006 to 2008 and 2010, 2011. Swiss Maestro, who had lost Basel Open final consecutive second time last year to former World No. 4 Juan Martin Del Potro in three sets with a 6-7, 6-2, 4-6. Basel Indoors Tournament director Roger Brennewald insists that 13-time singles Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal is going to join along with Roger Federer and World No. 3 Stanislas Wawrinka in Basel, where it could be a best tournament in the country with big players. Currently, Roger Federer is likely to prepare for the upcoming Mutua Madrid Masters next month, where he is considered as one of the hot favorite to clinch clay court crown. Later Federer will travel to Rome Masters before heading to the French Open championship.
