Former adoptee Girtie is in need of a new home. She is a senior - TopicsExpress

Former adoptee Girtie is in need of a new home. She is a senior Basset Hound @ 9-10 years of age. She is friendly and outgoing, but needs to be in a home without children and preferably without pets. She is housebroken. Her current family did not take the time to teach her manners when it comes to the door and she tries to bolt. Unfortunately, the husbands ailing wife is not able to control her and is fearful of Girtie as she has growled at her when she blocks her escape. (Normally achieved by grabbing her collar) She has never bitten anyone. She needs a home with someone who will have the patience and time to put forth into training. Girties is UTD on shots, HW and flea preventative and spayed. If you cannot adopt, please spread the word. Seniors do not do well in shelters If interested, please call Pet Welfare @ (850) 678 5066. You will recieve a response shortly.
