Former congresswoman Cynthia McKinney along with Dhoruba Bin Wahad who was one of the original members of the 1960’s Black Panther Party. At a recent press conference held at the Law Offices of Davis and Bozeman, several leaders spoke about what are the organization’s moving forward. Check out the video above from the press conference. The NCCPT is comprised of grassroots activists, organizations, attorneys and Hip Hop artists. NCCPT is seeking to abolish police occupation and terrorism in the African-American Community and Communities of Color. The NCCPT provides an alternative to some of the current reactionary, reformist, self-appointed and government endorsed leaders that many ordinary people, who experience police terrorism, have become frustrated with. NCCPT will focus on fundamentally changing the way policing is performed by having community regulated and controlled decentralized policing.
