Former state President & a sincere party leader was embarrassed to quit BJP. He was thoroughly neglected by state upper caste leaders & party hi-command. He was never given his due, he deserved. In coalition govt. he was given merely the post of minister of state while Bedprakas Agrawal, Samir Dey & Arabinda Dhali & some other juniors were given berths in cabinet. He was among first 4 MLAs elected to Assembly in 1977(belonging to erstwhile Bharatiya Jana Sangh) besides BB Harichandan, Khirod Swain & Purusottam Nayak. Although in late, the neglected leader belonging to dalit community has taken a right decision. I congratulate him.
