Fort Bend ISD superintendent Charles Dupre will get a compensation of more than $300,000 a year. The three -year contract provides for an annual salary of $285,000. The superintendent will get $700 a month for automobile and $300 a month for communication/technology. The district will also reimburse reasonable business expenses incurred by the superintendent. Further, the district will pay the premium for a $500,000 term life insurance policy for the superintendent. The district will make a $10,000 annual contribution to the superintendent’s annuity account. The district will pay $1,000 a day for up to 10 days, for on-site consulting services provided to the district before the hire date.(April 29). In case of termination, the board will pay one year salary to the superintendent.
