Fort Braggs Green Beret Club gets #makeover for Restaurant: Impossible TV episode -- About 100 volunteers - civilians and #USArmy #Soldiers - were outside the #GreenBeret Club restaurant on Fort Bragg, N.C., Wednesday to help renovate it as part of filming for Food Networks Restaurant: Impossible. The restaurant will reopen with its new look for the lunch crowd July 11. The show follows celebrity Chef Robert Irvine as he is challenged to spend just two days and $10,000 to make over restaurants in hopes of increasing profits. Irvine has been on #FortBragg since Monday to visit with #Army troops and jump with the US Army Golden Knights #parachute team. The ultimate goal here is to #honor each and every man and woman who has ever served in not just the #military, but the Army, Irvine said. These guys are the forefront of what happens in war. I want to give them a place to relax and kick back. Serving #veterans and veteran organizations is a personal mission for #RobertIrvine, who joined the British Royal Navy when he was 15. | The Fayetteville Observer #news: fayobserver/military/fort-bragg-s-green-beret-club-gets-makeover-for-restaurant/article_4945fc20-9668-5b7f-9e68-c90616577483.html#.U72CEzxwIiE.twitter | #ArmyStrong, #FoodNetwork, #RestaurantImpossible, #Salute
