Fort Jesus of Mombasa a historical site and a national museum started to be constructed by Portuguese in 1493.They regarded themselves as the representatives of Christendom rather than of Portugal and for this reason they sailed under the flag of the order of Christ Jesus was there an obvious name for the new fort. Its angular form was dictated by the rules of military defence and an Italian architect from Goa. Mombasa is the second biggest city of Kenya, it is where most of the tourists relax, sun bathe on the vast beach line of about 500 kms after the fatigue of the following:- early morning, late afternoon game viewing in the national reserves,the long distance from one park to another while on safaris.
