Fortunately, women wont be easily fooled by this deceptive tactic by out-of-touch republican men. While it may sound like a good idea to these men, the real objective is to make women pay out of pocket like many had been doing until Obamacare included contraception in the preventive health benefit. That provided real access and fiscal relief to women and their families. Estimates showed women saved up to 483 million in prescription costs - money they could use for their families. If use of birth control is a personal matter, why not add Viagra to the list that should be over-the-counter? In the real world, the FDA makes decisions about which medicines are safe enough to be over the counter, much to the dismay of Republicans in Congress who wanted to interfere with the FDA over emergency contraception going over the counter. It is time to stop this crazy attack on birth and focus on other economic issues that working women and their families need - like an increase in the minimum wage!
