Forty Days of Deliverance Day 38 WEEKEND EXTRA (let’s laugh a little) It’s Sunday Morning… it’s really been more than 40 days, but I am logging the days that I give thought and prayer (and writing) dedicated to my wilderness journey through this process. Today, No scripture, no profound revelation, no prophetic alert, just a getting up morning, preparing myself to go “serve” in the best way I know how, and praying in the shower that this day be fruitful and productive. Funny side bar. I grilled beef and pork ribs yesterday, smells like I grilled everything in the house, even some of my clothes have that coveted “Hickory Smoke” aroma… LOL Fabreeze, help a brutha out, up in here! But here it is: Have you ever been in a place, that you really KNEW nobody get’s it? In a very loving way, even friends and intimate friends, they know some things about you, and love you… but you KNOW they don’t get it! They or anybody else, sisters, friends, nephews, nieces, co-workers, even other ministers and leadership! They soooo don’t get it, that, it’s no use talking about it, because talking would only confuse them more? They understand you, they can attempt to empathize with you, and even sometimes listen to you, but you know they don’t get it! And as much as they try, they really don’t get you! Not to say they don’t accept you or even love you. They just don’t “get” you! I have some friends that I would literally lay down my life for, and a couple of them would do it for me, I know that, and I hope they don’t think this is an indictment or about them, it’s not… its ME! Here is the kicker… I truly, deep down in my heart KNOW that God does! I know that God understands, God cares, and God is concerned… However.. In all of his omnipotence, omniscience, and Omni-presence, prophetic, God speaking power… God does not address the “Get it”…… Not just the “Get it”, He does not answer the questions that creates the “Don’t get it” spirit that is in me! I have challenged my personal motives, reviewed the will of God and mission/ministry check list, prayed, crossed T’s and dotted I’s, interceded, spoke in tongues, tithed, offered, sowed, invested, paid it forward, made declarations, spoken decrees, fasted. I have reflected, made new acquaints, and said so long to others, back tracked, 6 months, Back tracked 1 year 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, 40 years… Did I make a wrong turn somewhere? Did I piss off the wrong people, unknowingly or knowingly? Did I take the low road, when I should have taken the high road? I have reached out, reached in, rebuked, binded, read, Medicated, Meditated, matriculated educated, -formally, informally, bible school, bible college, bible study Sunday school, Church school, college, seminary, School of the Prophets, School of the Apostles… Home-church, storefront church, Family church, Mega-church, mini-church on line church, black Church, white church, para-church Non-denomination, Inter-denominational, Baptist Church, PAW, UMC, MBC AME, CME, Look at me! Church of God, Assemblies, of God, Apostolic, Holiness, Apostolic overcoming Holiness.. UMYF, BTU, YPWW, IPYPU Served, sang, joined, played, ministered, directed, developed, wrote, built, managed, taught, administrated, published, … GMWA, national, Detroit Chapter, Dayton Chapter, Mile High Chapter, Detroit Mass, Detroit Remembers, Detroit, done forgot! Voices of Deliverance, Michigan State Community, Rev. Vails, Dr. Clark, JD, Michigan Baptist Mass… NOT ENOUGH TIME OR SPACE FOR CHURCHES AND PASTORS... Not complaining….. Just explaining….. Sometimes, nobody will ever get you, or understand you except the Creator, Himself.. Just a reflection… (or manifesting, not so sure at the moment) Not sure why God had me to share this so .... Here we go… another service… I hope God is pleased with my praise on today… Maybe it’s close to the end of this 40 day journey… One last mind conniption (LOL!) I’m really fine ya’ll…. I’m just sensing that, I’m not the only one! Deliverance is the Children’s bread!
