Forty-five years ago tonight (Can that be right?), I was in labor in Freeport, Texas. About the time Id forgotten why we were at the hospital, after 26 hours, my doc whisked me to the delivery room to greet Jason Loveless. The pix below are a couple of my favorites that hang in the downstairs hallway of our old farmhouse. Jason is about four months old in the first one, wearing an outfit Id made. In the second photo, which I love, hes dancing with daughter Lauren Loveless at Clay Loveless and Kendra Paulsen Lovelesss wedding. Wishing Jason many, many more joyous occasions!
