Forty seven (47) at 3:30 a.m. The first big decision for me every day takes place as I enter the garage. Im at the right front side of the car. Do I take the short route around the front of the car, open the back seat door, deposit my brief case, and then get in the car? Or, do I walk around the back of the car, stop by the back seat, and then get in? Every morning Im presented with this quandary. The distances are probably very similar, but they dont seem the same. Ive always thought there was a practical solution to this problem. As Ive gotten older, at least Ive given up crawling over the hood, windshield, and roof of the car to get to the drivers seat. In other words, the shortcut. I guess Ive learned that its better to remain in doubt than be completely foolish.
