Forwarding herein (below) is Asian-American Producer Teddy Zees FB post and my comment as to why is there was a dearth and sparcity of Asians and Asian-Americans as presenters or stage roles at the Kodak theater.... WHY? In the long-run, is Hollywood really that diverse or color-blind as the honchos spun it to be? What is so pathetic about the Oscar Academy, with its dominant white supremacists, is how they exploit and use blacks to camouflage, lend a veneer, and fig leaf about racial diversity, and color-blind Hollywood. In reality, except for the bananas, yellow outside, white inside... and the American Moon worshippers among Chinas compradore elite and colonial Chinese such as billionaire Wang Jianlin of Dalian Wanda Group...... trying to outwhite the whiteys, the yellow man has always been invisible and marginalized in the fringes of white-black Hollywood. Marlon Brando was right in rejecting his Best Actor Award in 1972 after being chosen for his role in The Godfather. His message, delivered by Satcheen Littlefeather, a female Apache, at the Oscar ceremonies in 1972, was the best lesson for white racist Hollywood. Sadly, 40 years later, white Hollywood, now evolved into white-black Hollywood has not changed much.... worse, it is trolling for rich yellow money, by pandering to billionaire Chinese from mainland China, like Wang Jianlin of Dalian-Wanada Group.... but staying on top in control of their racist drivel marginaling the yellow man and woman. Why last nights Oscar ceremonies and hoo-hah did little for me..... a yellow man and proud Asian-American. Hollywoods doors have not opened for our people. Their drivel is not about us. We are not part of their mindscope.... and we are not accepted as part of the white-black paradigm culture of Hollywood. So why does yellow billionaires, and creative talents bother to keep playing Waiting for Godot, or keep hoping against hope that things will be better? Forget it..... time to build our own vision, a new Playing Field of Dreams. The barriers of entry to film, creative motion pictures with an edge is not in Hollywood anymore. Go Asia, young men... Go Asia, young women...... you will find friendlier waters that you can swim in without the crocodiles, snakes, and barracudas. boston/news/education/2014/02/25/academy-president-cheryl-boone-isaacs-game-change/5nILRwyq8kAMTucBZWeH1J/story.html?s_campaign=8315 ____________________________________________________________
