Fossum Creative: ShotSpotter Gunshot Detection and Location Service SST, the company behind ShotSpotter, came to Fossum Creative to produce a case study video that showcased how gun violence in San Francisco has decreased by nearly 50% since the city installed the gunshot detection and location service in the mid-2000s. Filming involved interviewing city officials and going on a police ride-along into the lowest-income and most poverty-stricken neighborhoods in the community. Never before has a day of filming been more sobering. We did our best to convey that feeling in the final video here.
