They say that love will find you When you least expect it, And I never thought Id see the day Id find someone so precious When I first saw you, I was like, Oh shit, God damn it, look what God did, Hail Mary, Jesus! Now when I sit down to write, I see you on every page. I could stare at you for days, Because you know I love your ways. 3 months later, Im sitting at my apartment Thinking of all the places that my hearts been. And all the roads and journeys That my hearts taken, Never has a journey felt so right, Like the one that it took with you that night. I dont want this to end so soon. I dont want us to walk away From a love that could be So pure And true. Sometimes the thing you love most in this world, You just got to let it be. It hurts to have to set it free, And if it doesnt work, Then we both know that it was meant to breathe, But it could work. Im attempting it, Now were living it: To keep defining and redefining What love and commitment is.
