Found a gap in the weather yesterday to fly up to the Breede River mouth for the Christmas holidays at Infanta. Had to duck under a lowish cloud base between Hermanus and Struisbaai but otherwise it was a stunning 4 hours of low level coastal flying and marine wildlife spotting. Driving along the N2 gives zero impression of the magnificence of the Overberg coast! Huge thanks to Monique Tresfon who took the pain of the long drive up with our 3 kids and a fully loaded Kombi & trailer and allowed me to fly, what a champion!
