Found my moms Engagement Calendar from 1965....check out February 7th. I was ten years old at the time. I got a hold of a hundred quality photographs of the FabFour (compliments of a friend) and practiced forging their signatures for days. When they arrived, we went down to the Warwick Hotel where they were staying and sold the signed photographs for a dollar apiece (that was equivalent to two weeks allowance at the time) to gaggles of screaming girls. I think we could have charged two dollars and sold out...I often wonder if the photos surface in collections or auctions (My signatures were pretty good!) Fond memories of New York City!
