Found out today that one of our programmers was moving on. I liked the lady and got to work with her fairly often. I went to her desk to say the requisite bye-byes, because someone told me that was an appropriate thing to do. I told her Id miss working with her. Really Dennis? I always thought you considered me a real pain! Me: Well, yeah, but the kind of pain that makes tolerating it occasionally almost worth it, you know, like a hangover. Her: Thanks, I think. People skills!
