Found this under the trash bag... reddit/r/WTF/comments/2ajflo/found_this_under_the_trash_bag/ • nice that they re-capped them! • They were never uncapped in the first place because they were never used. Every one of those syringes is brand new. This is known because of the position of the plunger. Im going to call bullshit for that reason. No addict is going to toss away a handful of unused syringes. The spoon just happens to be upside down so you can see the carbon residue from it being heated. Looks like a set up to me. • Looks like a stash spot for someone to use later. If its under the trash bag, Id suspect the person that changes the trash bags. • Oooooh! • Yeah but the addict might have just bought those on the fly from walgreens, the gauge sucked, he didnt want to ride with ten rigs so he used one, kept one, and threw the rest away because they were too small to find the vein of a veteran user. He probably had better ones at home but found himself with some unexpected money, went straight to his dealer, bought the tools and dumped what he didnt need. Plausible. • The needles are half CC (which most users dislike) but that doesnt mean they are of small gauge or length. Gauge doesnt necessarily correlate to length (well it can but there are a lot of lengths for every gauge). Gauge refers to the diameter of the needle. The gauge isnt really going to determine whether the vein can be hit, the length is. Most users dislike smaller gauge (larger #) syringes not because theyre hard to hit with but because they clog easily and empty/fill slower. How are you determining the gauge from this photo anyway? None of the needles are uncapped and the packaging is unreadable (on my mobile screen at least). The brand of needles sold in my area all have the same end caps regardless of gauge or length; a 6mm 29 gauge 1CC syringe has the same end cap as a 8mm 31 gauge 1CC syringe. The exception to end caps is if a syringe is 1CC or 1/2CC, they have different end caps. • These are insulin syringes/needles, otherwise known as a T.B. syringe. Anyone who takes insulin this way, or any nurse/doctor/clinitian would automatically know this. They come with a specific sized needle typically used for the job intended, i.e., giving subcutaneous insulin or tiberculin for a T.B. skin test. (I am an R.N.] • bunch of new tooth picks right there. • At least op has got that going for him, which is nice. • Maybe he is off to rehab. • where was the pic taken? • Probably got a coworker with a habit. • Its heroin not crack • Looks like they were hiding them for later use. • A local retail store. In the restroom. • You can tell OP was bullshitting because he didnt put this in the title. OP is nothing but a karma whore.
