Four Counties players in Chiefs Dev side for todays game The Chiefs Rugby Club has announced their Chiefs Development team to take on the Hurricanes Development team in their second encounter for 2014 in Taupo on Wednesday 16 April. The match to be played at Owen Delany Park in Taupo, today at 1.30pm is expected to be a close encounter and will feature several Chiefs squad members. The team sponsored by Midland MRI will be led by Chiefs wider training squad member Carl Axtens again. Leveling the win tally will be on the Chiefs Development’s agenda. The last match between these two sides at FMG Stadium in Palmerston North in March saw the Chiefs Development team put up an impressive fight back towards the end of the game but it was not quite enough with the Hurricanes Development side winning the match 38-33.
